It seems that fans’ hopes of Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque rekindling their romance have been quashed, as the actress apparently removed all his photos from her Instagram page.
Days after Roque was spotted with Alonzo’s photo as his phone wallpaper, netizens noticed that the actress appeared to have taken down their Instagram photos together, including their joint statement about their breakup last Feb. 11.
Meanwhile, Alonzo kept the photos of her taken by Roque, retaining his Instagram handle as credits in the captions.
Despite the actress’ recent move, Roque does not seem to have any ill feelings toward her as he still likes Alonzo’s posts including her most recent one on Thursday, April 11.
As of Saturday, April 13, the former couple are still on each other’s Instagram following list.
Alonzo and Roque confirmed their relationship to the public in 2021, then got engaged in 2023. The pair announced the “end of [their] engagement” in February.
“After much thought, consideration, and care, we have decided to amicably end our engagement. It was not an easy decision. We wanted to have more time to carefully deliberate and pray about it, but there have been many speculations, questions, and insults,” they wrote.
While the pair did not immediately disclose the reason for their breakup, they asked their fans to understand their “extremely painful yet united decision.”
