Having come from a long-term celebrity relationship, Kylie Verzosa said that her now private, non-showbiz romance is “more peaceful” and “the best.”

Sitting down with Karen Davila, the “Penduko” actress was asked to describe her new relationship and what makes it different from her previous romance with actor Jake Cuenca.

“Amazing, the best,” she said. “It’s more peaceful. There’s less pressure on the relationship. It’s something I appreciate na tinatago ko lang sa sarili ko (I’m keeping all to myself). Yes, I am in show biz and so many parts of my life are exposed to the public, but this is something special and ours to keep.”

Verzosa affirmed that it’s both her and her boyfriend’s agreement to keep their relationship out of the limelight.

“We both wanna keep it private. We both agreed we want it to be that way. I come from a different industry. He comes from a different industry. He respects mine. And I respect his job. He’s very supportive of everything that I do,” she said.

The 2016 Miss International shared that she and her boyfriend met through a common friend, and she is hoping that the relationship they’re building will lead to “marriage,” as having kids and being a mother are something she wants to have in her life eventually.

After calling it quits with Cuenca two years ago, the actress-beauty queen remarked that she has never seen or spoken with the actor as she believes “exes should remain exes.”

“That part of our lives, I would prefer to keep it to the both of us. I’m grateful for everything that happened. He is such a good person and I have nothing but good things to say about him,” said Verzosa.

“We’ve never seen each other. We’ve never they’ve never spoken and I think it should be like that. I think exes should remain exes.” she added.
