Janus del Prado calls out ‘hypocrites’ who shunned celebs for switching networks
Janus del Prado didn’t hide his resentment towards certain “hypocrites” who expressed their dislike of celebrities who chose to move to another network, only for them to eventually do the same thing.
Del Prado took to his Instagram account on Monday, April 8, to call out celebrities who criticized fellow stars for opting to switch networks as they’re supposedly “not loyal,” although he didn’t name any one or network in particular.
“‘Yung mga bumatikos sa mga lumipat dati, naglipatan na din ngayon [laughing out loud]. Kala ko ba hindi loyal ang mga lumipat #hypocrites,” he wrote on a photo.
(To those who were against people who changed networks, they switched sides as well. Laughing out loud. I thought people who made such moves were not loyal. Hypocrites.)

In the caption, the actor explained that his post was meant to be a callout to celebrities who eventually asked for help from a different network despite their initial dislike towards it.

Del Prado then made a reminder to his followers to not get ahead of themselves as the world will always be “unpredictable.”
“Lesson. Wag magsalita ng tapos. Bilog ang mundo (Lesson: Don’t get ahead of yourself. The world will always change),” he said.
Comedian Marissa Sanchez found humor in the actor’s post, as seen in the comments, as she said his words were “on point.”
Meanwhile, netizens wondered if del Prado was referring to the hosts of ABS-CBN’s “It’s Showtime” which broadcast its first episode in GMA last April 6. Others also called out the actor for his “dumb mindset.”
Del Prado made headlines in September 2021 after he praised Paolo Contis for “taking accountability” for his controversial breakup with LJ Reyes.
Also in 2021, he laughed off death threats after he asked a certain “G” to apologize through a “cheat sheet,” where some netizens speculated that he was referring to Gerald Anderson.
