Herlene Budol seemed to be keeping up with a suggestion to dress down this summer due to rising temperature after a recent Facebook livestream video caught her in a “pantless” situation.

And while the “pantless” trend is all the mode in Hollywood nowadays, the current Miss Philippines Tourism 2023 titlist is taking the heat from the now-viral video, with followers and netizens saying that she had intended to be seen without her bottoms on to be the talk of the town.

In a shortened clip, Budol could be seen suddenly standing up during a live video before briefly disappearing from the screen, but not before inevitably showing the lower portion of her body underneath her white peplum tube top.

Realizing that her viewers might have seen her semi-naked state, she immediately went back onscreen and onto her seat. She then asked her companion, “Check mo nga, nakita ba? (Can you check, was it visible?)”

Defending herself from criticism, Budol said there is “nothing wrong” with her action, insisting that she was not naked during the livestream as she was wearing undergarments, nor that she exposed herself deliberately, as claimed by other netizens.

On Facebook, Budol said what happened was part of “human error,” noting that when she was doing pageants she was wearing even less.

“Big issue agad sa panty? (Is it already a big deal just because of the underwear?) Personally, I don’t see anything wrong [with] the panty issue. Nag rarampa nga ako sa entablado wearing swimsuit. Halos abot hanggang langit nga hugis ng swimsuit ko, tapos ito panty lang (I did perform on stage wearing only a swimsuit. Sometimes the shape of my swimsuit is almost up to the sky, then now it’s just panties) Well, it’s part of human error [and] always remember mistakes [are] part of human beings,” she wrote.

Budol’s livestream gathered numerous reactions from the netizens and has been uploaded numerous times in different online platforms.

Meanwhile, the former “Wowowin” talent also made headlines last year after her sultry exchanges with her co-star Rob Gomez heated up the internet. The screenshots of their sexual conversations went viral and received various comments from netizens.

Budol is currently part of GMA’s “Black Rider” and “Bubble Gang.”

Recently, Iloilo 1st District Rep. Janette Garin, formerly a Secretary of Health, recommended that women should “not wear underwear at home” in light of the extreme hot weather, in order to prevent experiencing itchiness in the areas around their genitals.
