Luis Manzano looked back on his time as a video jock (VJ) on MYX Philippines as he shared on Saturday, March 30, a photo of him together with fellow former VJs in the music channel.
Aside from Manzano, the throwback picture included Chino Lui Pio, Nikki Gil, Robi Domingo, Bianca Brander, Ai Dela Cruz, Iya Villania and Heart Evangelista.
“Naabutan niyo ba kami nag iintro ng music videos (Did you catch us making the introduction for music videos)?” Manzano wrote in the caption.

“Yung tipong late na ko sa school pero ‘di parin ako makaalis hanggat ‘di ko alam ang top 1 hahaha,” said another netizen. (I would be late for school, but I still couldn’t leave until I knew the top 1.)
Still another netizen asserted that those who watched MYX may now be old enough to get married. “Kung naabutan mo sila mag asawa ka na,” the netizen remarked. (If you watched them before, it’s time for you to get married.)
The remark merited a response from another netizen: “The catch is, wala parin akong asawa. Okay na ba? HAHAHA.” (The catch is, I don’t have any partner yet, is that okay?)”
In 2022, the former VJs including Manzano, Villania and Gil reunited as seen in the TikTok video they uploaded.
“Sa lahat ng mga nanood nung kami’y nasa MYX pa, alam niyo na ‘dun naman nagsimula ang aming mga karera,” Manzano wrote. “Yun lang! Maraming salamat from your former, but will always be, your MYX VJs.”
Manzano served as MYX VJ from 2003 to 2013.
