Pokwang belies claims she regrets GMA transfer
Pokwang asserted there is no truth to claims she regrets having transferred from ABS-CBN to GMA Network, even as she slammed those spreading what she said are made-up stories.
The actress-TV host was responding to a tweet by X user @06Skyscraper that read: “Laos na si Pokwang simula lumipat sa Kamuning. Parang nagsisi nga daw na lumipat. [Akala kasi] nila hindi makakabangon ang ABS-CBN.”
(Pokwang has become a has-been since she moved to Kamuning. I heard she regrets transferring networks. [She] must have thought that ABS-CBN would not recover.)
The netizen apparently used “Kamuning,” where GMA is located, to refer to the Kapuso network.

(I am happy with GMA and I have so much respect for ABS-CBN. I am thankful to both networks, including TV5, because they opened their doors for my talent.)
Pokwang had been with ABS-CBN for around 15 years before she transferred to GMA in June 2021. The comedian has since become part of several Kapuso shows including “Pepito Manaloto,” “Magpakailanman” and “TiktoClock.”
