It was Jerald Napoles‘s turn to come to the defense of his girlfriend Kim Molina after she lashed back at a netizen who taunted her with a vulgar remark and saying that he looked like a “kargador,” or dockworker.
On Facebook last Sunday, March 24, Napoles explained that Molina was provoked not by the reference to the actor looking like someone doing manual labor, but by the vulgar and inappropriate terms used by the netizen, with a clear intention to shame them.
In fact, Napoles said that he used to work as a porter at a textile company in Divisoria when he was not yet in show biz, a respectable job that made Molina proud of him.

“Context: ito ang sinabi nang nag comment kaya nasabihan siya ni Kim Molina nang bastos! Hindi nabastusan si Kim Molina dahil sinabihan akong ‘mukhang kargador.’ In fact, proud si Kim na pinagdaanan ko ito,” he said.
(Context: this is the comment that made Kim Molina accuse him of being rude. Kim Molina didn’t take offense from me being pointed out that I look like a porter. In fact, Kim is proud of where I come from.)
The actor-comedian further said there were some “misleading articles” written about his girlfriend which prompted him to clarify where Molina was coming from.
“Marami kasing na mi-mislead ng articles (Many were misled by articles). Just clarifying which is which. Love you, Kim Molina,” he said.
Napoles and Molina have been together for 10 years. They previously revealed in a January 2023 press conference that they broke up several times before, but they chose to keep their relationship strong.
