Ria Atayde declared that her 32nd birthday is her “happiest” one so far, as she celebrated the occasion by exchanging “I dos” with actor Zanjoe Marudo.
After the couple surprised fans with their wedding announcement, the actress re-shared Marudo’s post through her Instagram Stories on Monday, March 25, with the caption “happiest birthday ever.”
Ria and Marudo’s intimate wedding was held last Saturday, March 23.

Ria also re-shared moments from their special day that were posted by their guests, through Instagram Stories. Among the couple’s guests were fellow celebrities Darren Espanto, Enchong Dee, Jane Oineza, RK Bagatsing, LA Tenorio and Ria’s close friend Kathryn Bernardo.
Marudo and Ria’s family—her actress mom Sylvia Sanchez, dad Art Atayde, brother Arjo Atayde, sister Gela Atayde, and Xavi Atayde—were present as well at the event.

Meanwhile, a closer and detailed look at the couple’s “simple and classic” wedding reception setup was shared by event stylist Kyno Kho via a separate Instagram post.
Ria and Marudo confirmed their relationship to the public in November 2022 by showing photos from their Japan trip. The couple announced their engagement last Feb. 20.
