Sarah Geronimo, Carla Abellana, other celebs condemn killing of dog Killua
Sarah Geronimo and Carla Abellana are among the celebrities calling for justice for Killua, a dog who was beaten and found dead inside a sack.
Killua’s tragic death has been much talked about on social media after his furmom Vina Rachelle appealed for justice, drawing the attention of netizens and animal welfare organizations.
In Vina’s post, she was seen conversing with a man named Anthony Solares who admitted to killing the dog for allegedly biting him and one other individual. Solares then showed the sack where he kept Killua’s lifeless body.
Vina also showed a CCTV footage where a man, allegedly Solares, was seen chasing Killua. He was also seen hitting the dog before it ran away from him.
Celebrities including Geronimo, Abellana, Janella Salvador, Kim Atienza and Chie Filomeno then joined the public outcry over the cruelty that led to Killua’s death.

“Justice for Killua will be given soon. You’ll see,” Abellana wrote on her Instagram Stories.
“People don’t deserve animals. Ang sakit sakit sa puso. These psychos better end up in jail,” Salvador said, adding the hashtags “Justice for Killua” and “Justice for Erika,” a dog who was also a recent victim of animal cruelty.

The phrase “Justice for Killua” has been the local top trending topic on X, with over 68,000 tweets as of this writing.
Vina said they are taking action on the incident and that she is already in communication with the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).
