Sarah Lahbati’s mother files lawsuit against Cristy Fermin
Sarah Lahbati’s mother, Esther Lahbati, has sued entertainment host Cristy Fermin and her two co-hosts, Wendell Alvarez and Romel Chika, for cyber libel.
In an episode of “Showbiz Now Na,” Fermin confirmed that they were the reason the actress’ parents visited the Department of Justice (DOJ) earlier this month.
“Tutal sa kanya na rin po nanggaling ang tungkol (larawan) ay kami na po ang kukumpirma, kami pong tatlo. Kami pong tatlo ang kinasuhan ng cyber libel at hindi na po kami magdedetalye kasi ang mga abogado po namin ang nakakaalam ng mga detalyeng ito,” she said.
(Since they already posted the picture, we will be the ones to confirm it, the three of us. The three of us were charged with cyber libel, and we won’t go into details because our lawyers are the ones who know the details.)
The “Cristy Ferminute” host revealed she has already met up with Esther and their encounter turned out to be “good.”

“Kami po ‘yun, huwag na po kayong manghula na baka may isinampa kay Richard Gutierrez, kami po ang sinampahan nila ng kasong cyber libel,” (It’s us, so stop speculating that they filed a case against Richard Gutierrez, because it’s us that they sued.)
Fermin was among the online vloggers who fueled the rumors and sensationalized the separation of Sarah and Richard, which was later confirmed by the actress who said she is single and they are currently co-parenting their kids.
The former “Showbiz Police” host is also facing a lawsuit filed by Dominic Roque for “malicious innuendos,” as she has reported rumors on her YouTube channel about the breakup of the actor with his former fiance Bea Alonzo.
