Millie Bobby Brown says wedding plans are underway

“Stranger Things” star Millie Bobby Brown shared that wedding plans with fiance’ Jake Bongiovi are going well.
During a quick chat with Entertainment Tonight at the New York premiere of her new film “Damsel,” Brown expressed her excitement as they prepared for the wedding.
“It’s been really exciting,” she said. “I’m very, very blessed and very lucky,” as she went on to add that her wedding motif might lean toward modern-day vibes.
Last year, the “Enola Holmes” actress first spilled the beans about getting into the weeds of pulling off the big day, saying wedding preparations are the exciting part of her life right now.
“It’s such an amazing part of my life so far. Just being able to do it with someone makes it even better,” she told Good Morning America.
In 2022, Brown shared to USA Today that she met Bongiovi via Instagram and knew she felt she wanted to spend the rest of her days with him.
“I was interested in him and wanted to know more. As soon as we spoke I knew he was going to be a huge part of my life. After we met we knew we never wanted to leave each other’s side,” she remarked.
The 20-year-old actress stressed that it became clear that Bongiovi was the one because she wasn’t “overthinking” things with him.
“You can’t pinpoint why, it’s just the feeling of knowing that that’s the person you want to spend the rest of your time with. I think so much of life is overthinking. The one thing that made clear sense to me was him,” the actress added.
After publicizing their relationship in late 2021, Brown got engaged to the 21-year-old son of legend Bon Jovi in April 2023.
Bongiovi’s dad said in an interview on Sirius XM weeks after the engagement that “age” doesn’t matter in relationships.
“I don’t know if age matters, if you find the right partner and you grow,” he said. “I think that would be my advice really, is growing together is wise. I think that all of my kids have found the people that they think they can grow together with. And we like them all.”
Brown’s soon-to-in-laws attended her recent movie premiere and the actress tagged them as her “biggest support system.”
