Donita Rose reveals she wished her second partner to be ‘celibate’
Having been broken-hearted in the past, Donita Rose earnestly wished that her next partner, among others, would be a virgin; surprisingly, she said, God listened to her prayer and gave her the man of her desire.
Sitting down on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the former “That’s Entertainment” host shared that she had a long list of the traits she was looking for in a guy, and God gave him one who fitted all the boxes, even the “celibate” standard.
“I have a prayer list, very specific. Sabi ko puwedeng pastor, puwedeng worship leader, dapat Pinoy or at least half. Dapat guwapo siyempre. Dapat matangkad pa sa akin, dapat siya ‘yung magiging breadwinner, kasi marami akong pinagdaanan. Dapat nakakatawa,” she said.

“Nag-joke pa ako kay Lord na hindi ko talaga akalain, sabi ko, ‘Lord sana maging virgin ang asawa ko.’ Natupad!” added the actress.

“When I met him and we started talking as friends, eventually we started dating. He said, ‘May confession ako sa ‘yo. Virgin pa ako,’” recalled the actress.

“Tapos hindi ko siya sinagot. Sabi niya, ‘Bakit, na-turn off ka na ba?’ Sabi ko, ‘Alam mo ba na ‘yan ang prayer ko kay Lord, na hindi ko akalaing nakakatawa pala si Lord. Na kaya niyang sagutin pati ‘yung small things,” she remarked.
(Then I didn’t answer him. He said, ‘Why, are you turned off?’ I said, ‘Do you know that’s my prayer to the Lord, that I don’t think He would fulfill. That He can answer even the small things.)
Donita affirmed that it feels like she’s dreaming, knowing that she’s in a relationship with someone who adores God.
“Before Felson came around I was already complete. But the fact that I met a guy who loves God as much as I do, that’s where the dream is. Hindi ako makapaniwala na… Hindi ito panaginip kasi [I can’t believe it. This is not a dream because] we’re serving God together and we’re loving God together. There’s nothing better,” she said.
Donita and Felson tied the knot in 2022.
