Jaclyn Jose was honored by her family and friends from show business including Jake Ejercito, Alden Richards, Sid Lucero, Amy Austria and Gardo Versoza who visited the late veteran actress’ wake in Quezon City.

Ejercito—the father of Jose’s granddaughter Ellie—Richards, Lucero, Austria and Verzosa are among the first celebrities present at the wake, as seen on the Instagram page of TV and film producer Jo Macasa on Monday, March 4.

Director-screenwriter Adolfo Alix Jr. was also with them.

Macasa also shared a video of actress Andi Eigenmann, Jose’s daughter, putting the late actress’ urn on top of a huge flower arrangement with the help of her half brother, actor Gabby Eigenmann.

Ejercito, through his Instagram page, showed moments from the wake as well and shared a photo of Ellie standing beside the portrait of Jose.

Meanwhile, Ellie expressed her love and longing for her grandmother by remembering their moments together when she was younger.

Jose died of a heart attack on March 2 at the age of 60. Her wake is reportedly being held at Arlington Memorial Chapel in Quezon City.

It is not immediately known if the wake would be open to the public, although Andi earlier asked for respect and privacy for their family to grieve.
