Heart Evangelista recalls ‘sweet’ encounter with Bella Hadid

Filipina fashion icon Heart Evangelista looked back on her memorable encounter with supermodel Bella Hadid at a fashion week.
It is no longer new for the fashionista to go rubbing elbows with big celebrities from different industries, given that she’s been a frequent attendee at international fashion events.
Sitting down with Boy Abunda for the first episode of “GCash Spotlight,” Evangelista shared that her encounter with Hadid was only brief but sweet.
“You know who’s the sweetest? Bella Hadid. She’s really, really sweet. I love it. She’s so pretty,” she said.
Although they weren’t able to speak to each other, the Kapuso actress said that their exchanges of glances were enough to give her the impression that the American supermodel was “kind.”
“Nag-out of character siya. When it was the curtain call, all the models were walking past and they had their game face on,” she recalled.
“As I looked at her, I think I had a smile on, napatingin siya sa ‘kin, nag-smile siya, and I was like ‘ay, mabait siya,'” added the actress.
Aside from Hadid, the Filipina socialite was also able to have a recent encounter with Seventeen member Kim Mingyu.
In an Instagram Story, Evangelista shared her brief moment with the Korean superstar at Paris Fashion Week.
The Kapuso star posted a short clip she took as she observed Mingyu from afar talking to a group of people at the show.
In her caption, she gushingly wrote, “I’m not the type, but…” with a heart-on-fire emoji.
Evangelista continues to uplift Filipino creatives in the international fashion scene, as she dazzles at every fashion show she attends, inspiring many people with her fashion taste.
Meanwhile, Hadid is one of the highest-paid models in the world, whose net worth as of 2023 stands at $30 million. She was named Model of the Year by the British Fashion Council in 2022.
