Edgar Allan Guzman says wedding with Shaira Diaz will be in 2026

Edgar Allan Guzman was excited as he declared that his wedding with his fiancée, “Unang Hirit” host Shaira Diaz, will take place sometime in 2026.
During the press conference of the newest GMA show “Lilet Matias: Attorney-at-Law,” Guzman said he and Diaz will tie the knot in two years from now.
“Gusto talaga niya makatapos paga-aral which binibigay ko naman sa kanya ‘yun and this season, [ipapagtapos] muna namin ‘yun and next year, aayusin pa namin ang lahat, gusto namin maayos ang lahat, so 2026 is the target year sa wedding po namin,” he said.
(She wants to finish he studies first, so I’ll give it to her. And this season, we’ll wait for it to be done. Next year, we’ll focus on planning our wedding and we want it to turn out well. So 2026 is the target year of our wedding.)
Guzman said he’s also “very happy” that the world knows about his engagement with his fellow Kapuso star.
“I’m very happy, sobrang masaya ang puso ko ngayon. Ang sarap na ipagsigawan na engaged na kami ni Shaira (I’m very happy. My heart is very happy right now. It’s so nice to shout to the world that Shaira and I are engaged),” he said.
The actor, however, has yet to disclose what he envisions on his special day with Diaz, as of this writing.
Earlier this month, Guzman and Diaz announced that they’ve been engaged since December 2021. He also shared that keeping their engagement private for almost three years is a decision they made as his form of respect for his bride-to-be.
The couple became a couple in 2013, a year after meeting for the first time. Diaz, who returned to school in 2019, will graduate from college sometime in August of this year.
