Filipino actress-host Anne Curtis marked her 39th birthday with a barefaced and topless photoshoot.

On Instagram on Saturday, Feb. 17, the “It’s Showtime” mainstay host shared photos from her birthday shoot that showed her in her stunning glory as she posed fiercely and smiled genuinely without makeup and a top, making her flower tattoo visible.

“Birthday ko? Barefaced birthday (emojis) Thank you for all the warmest greetings (flower emoji),” she wrote in the caption.

Curtis is celebrating her birthday in Australia with her husband Erwan Heussaff and daughter Dahlia, as she is also set to attend Taylor Swift’s Eras tour concert.

The singer-actress has been the subject of online memes and skits since her viral and genuine reaction in 2017 during the noontime program’s “Tawag ng Tanghalan” portion.

In the segment, Curtis and her co-host, Vice Ganda, were interviewing a male overseas Filipino worker who was hoping to spend Christmas with his family.

Vice referenced birthdays as one of the special occasions that OFWs miss whenever they’re abroad.

“Alam mo, bukod sa hirap ng trabaho sa ibang bansa, ang pinakamahirap na hinaharap ng mga Pilipino doon ay yung pagka-miss nila sa pamilya nila sa Pilipinas. ‘Yung homesick, ‘di ba?” said the comedian.

“Lalo na during Christmas, family celebrations na you’re meant to be together,” the actress chimed in.

Vice then continued with “Birthday mo,” which Curtis misunderstood. “Birthday ko?” she replied. The actress took a moment to realize before bursting into laughter that she had misread her co-host’s statement.

“Sa palagay mo, bakit mamimiss ng OFW ‘yung birthday mo?” Vice teased. “Sa ating mga OFWs pasensya na po kung hindi kayo makauwi ‘pag birthday ni Anne.”

This encounter has been a running joke among the Filipinos since then. And with Curtis’ birthday this year, netizens took to social media to joke that OFWs who returned to the Philippines will not be able to celebrate the actress’ birthday as Curtis is in Australia.
