Heart Evangelista marked her 39th birthday on Feb. 14 with a beach shoot on Balesin island, stunning fans with her ethereal look in a Michael Leyva bridal gown.
The actress-fashion personality, who was reported to have renewed her wedding vows with her husband Chiz Escudero on the island, struck poses in an elegant strapless ball gown with her hair in a sleek bun.
“This is 39,” Evangelista said on her Instagram page.
While it was not immediately clear if the dress she wore was the same gown she donned during her renewal of vows, it can be noted that tagged in the post was the Instagram handle of Leyva’s bridal gown account where his collection of wedding dresses can be seen.
In a separate post, Evangelista also showed sneak peeks at her intimate birthday celebration which was attended by her family and close friends.
Prior to this, Evangelista shared a video of her “birthday salubong” where Escudero gifted her with a diamond ring.
Evangelista has been married to Escudero since 2015. The couple, who went through a rough patch in 2022, also held their 2015 wedding on Balesin.
During the earlier announcement of their renewal of vows, Escudero said they decided to hold such an event because they have a lot of things to celebrate, which they would announce in the next couple of months.
Meanwhile, Evangelista, who lost her twins in 2018 due to a miscarriage, declared in a recent interview that she is ready to have a baby again.
“I feel like if there’s any moment that I should be blessed with a baby, it should be now because I feel like I’m ready as a person and I would be able to give more, because I’ll be able to tell her more and share more wisdom,” she stated.
