Mark Leviste joined Kris Aquino in celebrating her 53rd birthday in the US as the “Queen of All Media” announced her current health condition.
On his Instagram stories on Wednesday, Feb. 14, Leviste shared a few behind-the-scenes photos including that of 53 pink roses in a heart-shaped box, even as Aquino went live on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” via Zoom to discuss her health status.
Aquino came with the negative news that she had been diagnosed with a fifth autoimmune disease. The condition, she said, is making her heart “swollen,” which could lead to a possible cardiac arrest.
After her Zoom appearance with Boy Abunda, the actress-TV host penned a lengthy Instagram post, taking the opportunity to thank her family, friends and fans while thinking about the possibility of her birthday celebration being her last, given her worsening health.
Aquino again pleaded for prayers as she continues to battle her multiple health complications since 2018, writing, “I still want to live; I know the odds are against me—dahil ang puso hindi pwedeng diktahan pero sana sa tulong ng dasal nyo mabigyan pa ko ng konting extension. You have my love and eternal gratitude. Happy Valentine’s Day.”
Leviste commented on Aquino’s post with a moving text graphic that says “Love, Love, Love” and netizens took the chance to thank the Batangas vice governor for staying with Aquino amid her condition.
“Thank you VG for being with Ms.KCA now when she needs it the most, and loving her despite and inspite of her condition and situation. Please help her and her children in this fight. God bless and be with you all,” wrote IG user @fadinc2015.
“Sir VG, thank you so much for loving ang supporting Kris, hold on in this very difficult time [for] Kris,” said another netizen.
The Batangas vice Ggovernor also thanked Hollywood fashion stylist Oli Sara for lending a helping hand as the former “Kris TV” host did a live interview from Orange County California, for the first time in many years.
Leviste and Aquino have been in an on-and-off relationship for years. The politician has been vocal about “willing to wait” for the actress-host and called her “his world” in past interviews.
