Pokwang gives sage advice to people going through a breakup
Pokwang has shared words of wisdom with those going through heartbreak and breakups, saying the end of a relationship may be painful but it’s a sign that someone is not meant for you.
When asked for comment about the recent string of breakups hounding showbiz, Pokwang said breakups are a heartbreaking “part of life” while standing as a reminder in relationships, as seen in a Tiktok video by showbiz vlogger StarsPhotog.
“Gan’un talaga. Gan’un talaga ang buhay. Kapag may nakalaan sa’yo na tamang tao at [hindi mo pa panahon], masasaktan at masasaktan ka para kapag dumating na ‘yung tamang tao, buo ka na,” she said. (It’s like that. Life is like that. If someone is meant for you but it’s not yet your time, you’ll always end up getting hurt so when you meet them, you’re already whole.)
Pokwang, while allowing herself a moment of introspection, said it’s indeed painful to go through a breakup but hopes that people would see the silver lining when the time comes.
“Kung alam mo lang, masakit talaga. May mga gabing hindi ako makatulog, pero iniisip ko na lang na hindi siya ‘yung tamang guy. Meron talagang nakalaan sa’yo, dadating at dadating ‘yun. ‘Yung pain, hayaan mo lang ‘yan,” she said without disclosing anyone in particular.
