Carla Abellana said there’s no truth to accusations that the prices of her pre-loved items are unreasonable, as she stressed that buyers have the choice to purchase them or not.
“Hindi ‘yon totoo. Grabe kayo,” the actress said during an interview with “24 Oras” on Thursday, Feb. 8, after she was asked about claims her item prices did not match their quality.
(That’s not true. [Your accusations] are too much.)
“I would sell something na much less naman than how much I got it for, ‘di ba? Lalo na dahil ‘yung condition niya—depende din doon,” she continued.
(I would even sell something much less than how much I got it for because of its condition—[the price] is based on that.)

It can be noted that Abellana earlier drew criticisms for allegedly “overpricing” some of her personal things that were already “abused.”
Abellana also underscored that while some may disagree with how she priced her goods, it is still the buyers’ decision if they would purchase them or not.
“Well, choice naman nila ‘yon (it’s still their choice), of course, if they’re interested; if they want to buy or not,” she told the news show.
Prior to this, Abellana lamented how people could be “so mean” as netizens flooded her comment section to point out her items’ supposed rundown condition. She also lowered down her item prices, seemingly in response to the backlash.
