Korean actor Ahn Hyo Seop slapped internet personality Han Seo Hee with a defamation and obscenity case over a leaked private chat between them.

The legal representative of the “Business Proposal” and “Dr. Romantic 2” actor said that the conversation “publicized” by Han tarnished the reputation of Ahn, as reported by several Korean outlets.

An excerpt of the lawsuit reads, “The conversation between the defendant (Han Seo-hee) and ‘A’ suggests solicitation for sexual intercourse, and when the response was delayed, she threatened, ‘Do you want to die? ’ and ‘A’ responded with, ‘Why are you talking so scary?’ and then blocked her.”

The lawsuit further said, “She then shared this conversation in an open chatroom where it could be seen by many, implying as if ‘A’ and the defendant had been having sexual relations, thereby damaging ‘A’s reputation.”

The lawsuit also mentioned the past controversies of the internet personality “caused by using connections in the entertainment industry to engage in frequent disputes with celebrities or their fans.”

In November last year, the Kakaotalk conversation between the two went viral online. The messages read that the media personality invited the actor to come to her place and spend the night together.

“Please come to Joseon Palace tomorrow,” Han’s message read. “To do what?” the actor replied.

The former Korea trainee allegedly sent inappropriate messages, such as, “Let’s order a sh*t ton of room service and have dinner there. It’s not like I’m paying for any of it. Or we could have sex. Ah, reply quickly. Are you ignoring me? Do you want to die?”

Han had denied the allegation via her Instagram Stories, saying the conversation was fabricated. The Korean actor nevertheless decided to pursue a legal action against her.

Han has yet to issue a statement regarding the lawsuit.
