Blackpink’s Lisa has established her own label LLOUD as an avenue to create “new boundaries” in music and entertainment.
Lisa announced the launch of her new artist management company on Thursday, Feb. 8 in a joint Instagram post with LLOUD, while sharing a black-and-white photo of herself wearing a tuxedo.
“Introducing LLOUD, a platform to showcase my vision in music and entertainment. Join me on this exciting journey to push through new boundaries together,” she wrote.
LLOUD is described as an agency that aims to innovate experiences that “transcend genres and connect generations,” per its official website. “At LLOUD, our passion as an artist management company is to create experiences that transcend genres and connect generations. Our core lies in relentless innovation and a commitment to authenticity.”
“We’re not just pushing boundaries; we’re redefining them, crafting chart-topping and genre-defying music. Embrace the beginning of the LLOUD era with us,” its statement continued.
Meanwhile, Lisa was introduced as a renowned Blackpink member who made “unparalleled achievements” in the music and fashion industries.
“Lisa transcends the group with her global impact in music and fashion,” its official website read. “Holding multiple Guinness World Records, Lisa’s achievements are unparalleled.”
The website also listed the Thai artist’s achievements in music, noting her journey made an impact in the “ever-evolving world” of entertainment.
“She’s the first female solo artist in K-pop to win ‘Best K-pop Artist’ at the MTV Music Video Awards and Europe Music Awards and the first to exceed a billion Spotify streams,” LLOUD said. “Continuously pushing boundaries, Lisa’s journey is a testament to her influence in the ever-evolving world of global entertainment.”
Apart from Lisa’s new agency, details about her solo activities are yet to be revealed.
Her announcement came days after hinting that she’s working on a new project on her social media platforms.
Lisa is the second Blackpink member to establish her own agency after Jennie’s Odd Atelier in December 2023. Meanwhile, Jisoo and Rosé’s solo plans are yet to be disclosed.
YG Entertainment confirmed in December 2023 that Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa renewed their contracts as a group, but will start afresh in their solo activities.
Born as Pranpriya Manobal, Lisa debuted as the main dancer and lead rapper of Blackpink in August 2016.
She made her solo debut in September 2021 with the single album “Lalisa” which includes the title track of the same name and the smash hit “Money.”
