Kristoffer Martin to Kathryn Bernardo: ‘Tuloy natin ang Endless Love’
Kristoffer Martin expressed his interest in working with Kathryn Bernardo again by doing a follow-up on their first project together, “Endless Love.”
Sitting down on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Wednesday, Feb. 7, Martin was asked if he’s still friends with the Kapamilya actress, considering he was one of the first to get partnered with her onscreen.
“Sana [friends]. But nagkikita kami sa mga events, naghi hello pero ‘yung personal na nagmemessage hindi po,” he said.
Abunda teased that Bernardo will be able to see the interview, making the actor pitch his desire for a sequel to GMA’s “Endless Love,” where they first worked together.
“Kath, baka naman. Work tayo. Sayang ‘yung ‘Endless Love’. Tuloy natin. Gandang following non,” he said.
Article continues after this advertisementThe 2010 television drama Endless Love, in which Bernardo and Martin played the younger versions of Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes’ characters, respectively, is based on the Korean drama “Autumn in My Heart.”
Article continues after this advertisementBernardo’s breakup with his longtime boyfriend and love team, Daniel Padilla, was the talk of the town last year. With that, Abunda asked Martin if he had any messages or wishes he wanted to say to the actress.
“Peace sa heart niya, Tito Boy, kasi deserve niya ‘yon,” said the actor.
As the Asia’s Box Office Queen renewed her contract with her home network ABS-CBN, many artists, especially actors, have expressed their desire to work with Bernardo.
Among them is Jericho Rosales, who was recently seen with the actress, and who fans favored the actress to work with, has been also vocal about his enthusiasm to work with the “A Very Good Girl” star.
During her contract signing, Bernardo shared that she’s open to working with different people now that she is venturing as a solo artist, and without a fixed love team.
“I feel na ang dami kong opportunities, and gusto ko lang i-open ang doors ko sa lahat ng opportunities na ‘yun. I’m really open now to working with anybody. I’m open now to working with different lending men and women. Na alam ko na may matututunan pa ako,” she said.
