Amid his reported split with Bea Alonzo, it appears that Dominic Roque found relatable a quote about a lover turning into a stranger and the hope of “loving each other right” in another life.
Days before their breakup was confirmed to the public by TV host Boy Abunda, Roque had left three downcast face emoji on the comments section of an Instagram video shared by American photographer-writer Tyler Wayne Glass.
The video includes in the background a narration from writer Lena Karla which goes: “I need you to do something for me. I need you to let me go. You have to let me let you go.”
“In another life, maybe it was you and me. Maybe there, we loved each other right, and we were happy together. Maybe in that life, we did all the things we said we would. But we got this one instead,” she continued.
“You were my friend, my love, and now a stranger, but you’ll always be my favorite memory,” she concluded.
While Roque opted not to say anything further, fans comforted him and hoped for his “healing.”
“Good sources” claimed that the pair is still mending their relationship, as per Abunda, although the TV host also cited sources who said Alonzo had already returned the engagement ring given to her by Roque.
Both Alonzo and Roque, however, have yet to publicly speak about their reported breakup.
