BGYO drops new single ‘Patintero’ on Feb. 9
BGYO — a P-pop boy group consisting of Gelo, Akira, JL, Mikki, and Nate — is set to release their new single “Patintero” on Feb. 9, a month after marking their third anniversary in the music scene.
The group’s new single was first revealed to the public through a poster event which was held at the ABS-CBN building in Quezon City on Jan. 26, as seen on their official X (formerly Twitter) page.
“Nakabukas na ang kalye… Halika na’t mag-Patintero! The billboard is revealed along Eugenio Lopez Drive for our latest single ‘Patintero,’ coming out on Feb 9! Excited na kaming maki-jamming kayo at makisaya sa bago naming awitin. Abangan,” their post read.

BGYO also held a separate mural event at the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center to celebrate the upcoming release of their new single.

BGYO’s new single comes more than a year after the release of their second studio album “Be Us” in November 2022. During an exclusive interview with INQUIRER.net, Nate said the album empowers fans to be “proactive and prepared for everything.”
The five-piece act made their debut in January 2021 with the single “The Light.”
