Aiko Melendez extended an advice on social media about keeping one’s feet on the ground after a fellow celebrity reportedly refused her collaboration offer to do a vlog together.

On Thursday, Feb. 1, the actress took to Facebook to lament about someone who she used to work with and rejected her invitation to collaborate on a YouTube vlog.

Samantala itong artista na naka work ko dati, minessage ko baka pwede mag collab kami, after so many attempts of messages, sumagot na sorry po di ako nakikipag collab po,” she complained.

The current Quezon City councilor underscored that she had hoped her invitation would be welcomed, given their shared work history.

Mas busy pa siya [kay] Biden,” said the actress.

In the comment section of her post, Melendez gave advice to the person involved, highlighting the importance of humility in a world where noting is permanent, especially fame.

“Ang payo ko sa kanya. Ang kasikatan ng tao all temporary. Stay humble.

Melendez’s post gathered curiosity, and a few guesses poured in on who could be the name behind the seemingly blind item. The personality that was mentioned most was vlogger-actress Alex Gonzaga.

However, Melendez said that it isn’t Gonzaga but a man whose name has the letter “O” in it.

In a separate post, Melendez said she will try to understand the person, noting that she is still willing to do a collaboration if ever their paths cross again.

“So my bad if I assumed, but on the contrary iintindihin ko nalang siya bilang mas nakakabata siya sa akin, bagets pa si O na lalaki. My Youtube channel is still open for you kasi ganyan kami mga artista na seniors wala personalan sa amin.
