Janella Salvador and Thai actor Win Metawin sent waves of excitement to fans as their first team up movie “Under Parallel Skies” dropped its official teaser.
On Thursday, February 1, content production and film company 28 Squared Studios gave the first sneak preview into the chemistry of the Filipina actress and Metawin as they shared a kiss on the teaser.
The Thai actor gained a solid following in the Philippines following his portrayal as Tine in the boy love hit series “2gether: The Series” as he starred alongside another Thai actor Bright Vachirawit who plays Sarawat.
The rumors of Salvador and Metawin joining forces in a project first sparked in June 2023 after pictures of them together circulated online. The following month, the production company officially confirmed the project, which made the fans enthusiastic about it.

“Under Parallel Skies” will mark the Thai actor’s first full-length English movie where he will be speaking the universal language the entire time.
After the teaser dropped, the “Mallari” actress took to Instagram to share the short trailer, with the caption: “Good things may come to an end, but new good things will arise from endings. #UnderParallelSkies coming soon.”
Set in Hong Kong, the story follows a man (Win) who is struggling with a painful past. As he tries to carry on with his life, he stumbles upon a woman (Salvador), who he knows has a significant role in the story of his life.
“Under Parallel Skies” which sets to premiere in Philippine cinemas in April is directed by Sigrid Bernardo who helmed the 2017 “Kita Kita.”
