Paolo Contis’ alleged involvement in Kyline-Mavy falling out irks Lolit Solis

Paolo Contis is being implicated in the falling out between rumored couple Kyline Alcantara and Mavy Legaspi, a matter that irked the former’s talent manager, Lolit Solis.
On her Instagram page on Sunday, Solis made no qualms about naming Alacantara as behind allegations going in show biz circles that her ward was a “bad influence” to Legaspi. Contis and Legaspi are cohosts in the GMA noontime show “Tahanang Pinakamasaya.”
“Uminit ulo ko nang marinig iyong tsismis na isinasali ang pangalan ni Paolo Contis sa breakup nila Mavy at Kyline. Dahil daw sa bad influence ni Paolo kaya nakipag break up si Kyline kay Mavy. Wow ha, talagang dapat masali ang ibang tao pag nagbi-break kayo?” she wrote.
(I got pissed when Paolo Contis was involved in the breakup of Mavy and Kyline. Because Contis was said to be a bad influence, which is why Kyline broke up with Mavy. Wow. Must you have the nerve to include other people in your breakup?)

While clarifying that she doesn’t want to have a fight with anyone, Solis warned the actress to keep Contis out of her personal affairs.
“I don’t want to have a fight with Kyline, but I am giving her a warning na kung totoo ang mga narinig ko na sinasabi niya about Paolo Contis she will never hear the end of it from me,” she said. “Kung mali ang alaga ko tinatanggap ko at pinangangaralan sila. Pero pag siniraan mo sila ng walang basehan, mag ingat ka dahil hindi kita uurungan.”
(I don’t want to fight with Kyline but I’m giving her a warning that if she’s indeed accusing Paolo Contis of such, she will never hear the end of it from me. If my ward is wrong, I accept it and make sure he learns from it. But if you tarnish his reputation without a source, be careful. I will never back down from you.)
The columnist-talent manager reiterated that Alcantara shouldn’t involve anyone when it comes to addressing her personal matters with Legaspi, noting the alleged exes should focus on repairing what’s left of their relationship.
“Be careful Kyline Alcantara, huwag mo idamay si Paolo Contis sa mga hanash mo kay Mavy Legazpi. Kung may problema kayo, i-settle nyong dalawa at huwag magdamay ng ibang tao,” she said.
“Or else, I will do my part as Paolo Contis manager/ nanay para ipagtanggol siya sa mga maling bintang sa kanya. Maging fair tayo sa mga bagay na dapat mangyari. Walang siraan sa mga taong inosente,” she continued.
(Be careful, Kyline Alcantara. Don’t involve Paolo Contis in your problems with Mavy Legaspi. If you have problems with each other, the both of you should settle it on your own. Don’t involve anyone else. Or else, I will do my part as Paolo Contis’ manager/mother to defend him from such accusations. Be fair. Don’t tarnish an innocent person’s reputation.)
Alcantara and Legaspi were a love team on several GMA TV series, where their relationship grew closer to become a real-life couple, though the two have not confirmed their romance, even until their falling out late last year.
The young actress, in November 2023, posted a brief “I knew it” on X (formerly Twitter), followed by a series of cryptic exchanges between her and Legaspi’s mother, actress-host Carmina Villarroel.
Alcantara’s camp, however, has yet to respond Solis’ remarks, as of this writing.
