‘Mom knows best,’ says Carmina Villarroel amid Mavy Legaspi-Kyline Alcantara split rumors

Carmina Villarroel appeared to share words of wisdom to her twin children Mavy and Cassy Legaspi on how mothers “know best,” as she warned against people who would try do them harm.
Villarroel took to her X (formerly Twitter) page on Saturday, Nov. 25, to remind her twins to protect themselves from people attempting to “destroy [their] image” and “damage [their] personality.”
“Dear Mavy and Cassy, people can destroy your image, damage your personality, create rumors about you but they can never take away your good deeds. Because no matter how they describe you, you will always be admired by those who know you best,” her post read.

The seasoned actress then stressed that “mom knows best” in a separate post the day after.

The actress’ cryptic post came amid reports that Mavy and his girlfriend Kyline Alcantara have called it quits. They were last seen together watching the musical “Hamilton.”
Meanwhile, Villarroel’s husband Zoren Legaspi uploaded a video of Mavy and Cassy enjoying dinner with Dasuri Choi, Arra San Agustin, and Winwyn Marquez on his Instagram account last Nov. 25.
“Keep Smiling guys @cassy @mavylegaspi it’s good to have GENUINE FRIENDS. Ingat kayo (take care). Say thank you kay Win for the Dinner,” he said in the caption, referring to the former beauty queen using her nickname.

Villarroel then thanked those who truly loved their twins in the comments of Legaspi’s post.
“Maraming salamat sa mga tunay na nagmamahal sa mga anak namin. Mahal din namin kayo. @cassy @mavylegaspi enjoy lang kayo (Thank you very much to those who truly love our children. We love you all. Cassy, Mavy, just enjoy)! Love you guys! Family is [love],” she wrote.

Neither Villarroel nor Legaspi have addressed the issue of Mavy and Alcantara’s supposed breakup, which came about when the latter tweeted a cryptic remark on social media.
Despite this, Mavy and Alcantara have yet to speak up about their real score, although the actress said their “special relationship” is “not just for publicity” and that they’re “not just taping friends.”
