Love is in the air for actress-fashionista Heart Evangelista and husband Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero, who are set to renew their vows in February.

Escudero made the announcement in a televised interview on Monday when he was asked in an interview why they decided to renew their vows next month, which is incidentally Evangelista’s birth month.

“We have a lot of things to celebrate, which I guess we would be able to say or announce in the next couple of months to our friends,” said Escudero in an interview over ANC’s Headstart.

“It’s not really something that the public needs to know coming from us, but there’s a lot to celebrate in life right now — in our family, in our marriage, between us, with her. Not so much with me but that’s good enough for me as well — my marriage, my family, and my home,” he added.

Escudero said people who are in love can renew their vows whenever they want. “It really depends because if you are truly in love with each other you can actually do it every year if you want,” he said.

Escudero and Evangelista tied the knot at the exclusive Balesin Island resort in Quezon on February 15, 2015.

However, in 2022, the power couple was hounded by breakup rumors, which were then put to rest by the “I Left My Heart in Sorsogon” star in December. Evangelista later admitted that they went through a rough patch in their relationship during a “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” interview.
