Fashion icon Heart Evangelista makes any international fashion week a place of her own as she slays and serves her every look.
Given that half of her life revolves around the fashion industry, it’s more likely that her husband, Sen. Chiz Escudero, may tag along to fashion events now and then.
On Thursday, the Kapuso actress posted a vlog titled “I AM HEART EP 1” on her YouTube channel, showing some never-before-seen and candid moments with her team and husband as they attended New York Fashion Week 2023.
The vlog showed how Escudero assisted her wife while roaming around New York getting ready for every show to be attended. The former Sorsogon governor was seen helping Evangelista get out of the car, holding out an umbrella for her and carrying the style icon’s bags.
Escudero even jokes in the camera, “Alam mo tingin ko ito talaga ‘yung silbi ko, sabitan, sabitan lang,” and her wife says, “Sorry, babe. So sorry.” One of the things also included in her husband’s duty was to act as her photographer.
More unfiltered moments
The vlog also showed Evangelista shopping and getting her credit card declined. The actress-model then accused her husband of deactivating it, but Escudero vehemently denied it.
Some more unfiltered moments between the power couple were unveiled in the episode. According to Escudero, whenever he accompanies her wife abroad, he gets to prepare meals for her and everyone, attends to her schedule, handles the payroll, washes clothes and sews sometimes.
“It feels so comforting that Chiz is with us. He’s the word of wisdom. If something goes south, he will be the one to tell you, Saan ka nagkamali. I really feel safe when Chiz is around,” expressed Evangelista.
The netizens are all tuned in to Evangelista’s new vlog segment, calling it a “Netflix-worthy show” as it showcases the Hollywood reality TV show about a socialite in the fashion industry.
