Gelli de Belen admits hiring private investigator to prove John Estrada was ‘red flag’ for sister Janice
Gelli de Belen recalled how she proved that John Estrada was a “red flag” for her sister Janice de Belen by hiring a private investigator.
Sitting down with Karen Davila, the de Belen sisters got candid, reminiscing about the past relationships of Janice. Gelli stressed that recounting these stories was not meant to vilify Estrada.
“Ayoko naman siraan si John. Tapos na ‘yan. We’re okay na. But ito ‘yung pinagdaanan namin,” she said.
Gelli said that in the other past relationships of Janice, she was too young to know what was going on and was not mature enough to realize that there was something wrong.
“Actually isa lang naman talaga ‘yung nakitaan ko ng red flag kasi wala pa ako sa wisyo nung ibang boyfriends niya. I was very young. And I was just like, ‘Oh my God, si Gabby Concepcion nasa bahay namin,’ ‘Ay si Aga Muhlach tatay ng pamangkin ko,’ ganon pako,” she said.

“One of the last times I told her very definitive sabi niya, ‘I want proof.’ Proof ba kamo? Naghanap talaga ako ng proof. I was very aggressive with this. Sige na nga aaminin ko na nga. Umabot ako sa punto na nagpa-private investigator ako,” she revealed.
Gelli said she did this out of her love for her sister.
“For me, if I would have gone through the same thing, sino pa ba ang dadamay sakin kung hindi kapatid ko? I have a lot of friends but at the end of the day your family would really look out for you, who would go the extra mile for you,” she affirmed.
