Anjo Yllana and his younger brother Jomari have apparently patched things up in time for the new year, a reconciliation that made their mother emotional.

Anjo confirmed his reconciliation with Jomari at the sidelines of the mediacon for “Itutumba Ka Ng Tatay Ko,” per report of Inquirer Bandera. The elder Yllana said he and Jomari are “okay” after he approached his younger brother in what seemed to be a heartfelt reunion.

“Okay na kami. Nagkausap kami noong New Year.

(We’re okay. We talked during the New Year. My mom even teared up. She’s happy because her eldest and youngest child are finally interacting. For me, it’s okay because there are no hard feelings. Past is past, everything that happened between us is done. Move forward.)

Anjo admitted that he “casually” approached Jomari during the reunion as if nothing happened between them. He then noted that he didn’t want to dwell in the past and hoped the latter would feel the same.

The former “Eat Bulaga” host also shared that Jomari’s wife, former actress Abby Viduya also joined in their interaction, where he congratulated the couple on their Las Vegas wedding in November 2023.

Deep inside naman, kinalimutan ko na y’un, mga three or four months after nangyari [ang tampuhan],” he said.

(Jomari greeted me in return, even Abby. We greeted each other. We talked, but nothing serious since I don’t want to delve into those. That’s okay for me. Even though we haven’t been in contact for two years, you can’t remove the fact that we’re brothers. Deep inside, I forgot about it three or four months after our misunderstanding happened.)

Their reconciliation took place months after Anjo revealed that he wasn’t on speaking terms with Jomari during an interview with the latter’s ex-wife Aiko Melendez.

The brothers’ scuffle made headlines in January 2022 after Anjo accused Jomari and Viduya of allegedly pocketing his campaign funds after he ran for a congressional post in Camarines Sur’s fourth district, per a report from Philippine Entertainment Portal.

The newlyweds, however, have yet to comment on Anjo’s allegations, as of this writing.
