Pablo, leader and chief songwriter of SB19, hoped that his new single “Determinado” is a reminder to “confront fears” and find the strength to move forward.

The hip-hop and rock-inspired single, which was released on Sunday, Jan. 14, is a collaboration between Pablo and his brother Josue. The song is said to be a “realization to find the courage” to do “what [they] want.

“The [song is] a realization when we find the courage to do what we want, and what kind of artist we aspire to be. We are confronting our fears and roadblocks, but still moving forward,” Pablo said in a press statement.

“Our music is not just the output. It’s a collective of all the micro-things that happen behind the scenes and throughout the process. We are more assertive now,” he continued.

The P-pop idol also spoke about the possibility of releasing a solo album sometime in 2024, although no further details are yet to be disclosed.

“Going back to the song title, we are indeed on this journey. I have so many things planned to do in 2024, and definitely one of those is to release my own album,” he said.

“Determinado” is Pablo’s second single as a solo artist, which was performed for the first time at a brand event on the day of the song’s release.
