Liza Soberano’s Hollywood film drops official trailer
Liza Soberano’s debut Hollywood film, “Lisa Frankenstein,” unveiled its official trailer ahead of its theatrical release on Feb. 9.
The trailer gives off a neon, vintage vibe that perfectly captures the ’80s cult spirit. “Lisa Frankenstein” is a horror rom-com that will give viewers all the feels ahead of Valentine’s Day.
In the trailer, Soberano is seen effectively blending into the Hollywood scene as she dons the classic ’80s outfit and cheerleader suit, delivering her momentous lines.
Soberano will serve as a co-star with Hollywood actors Cole Sprouse and Kathryn Newton in the horror comedy inspired by the Gothic novel “Frankenstein.”

The film was written and produced by Diablo Cody, who won an Oscar for Best Screenplay for the movie “Juno” and received global praise for his work in Jennifer’s Body. “Lisa Frankenstein” will mark Zelda Williams’ directorial debut.
Other notable cast members include Carla Gugino, Joe Chrest and Henry Eikenberry.
Soberano is known for her blockbuster Filipino films and TV series including “Alone/Together,” “My Ex and Whys,” “Just the Way You Are,” “Dolce Amore” and “Forevermore.”
The ‘Bagani’ actress recently celebrated her birthday, and her Hollywood friends took to social media to greet the actress.
Lisa Frankeinstein’s official Instagram account posted on Instagram Story greeting Soberano: “It’s Liza Soberano’s birthday! HBD to our Taffy.”
Meanwhile, Newton also posted on her Instagram Story, saying, “Happy birthday, Liza Soberano! I love you so much!”
The 26-year-old is currently expanding her horizons as she explores career opportunities in both Hollywood and South Korea.
