Francine Diaz denies taking Seth Fedelin away from Andrea Brillantes

After her long silence on the matter, Francine Diaz finally spoke up amid resurfaced allegations that she caused the breakup of erstwhile couple Seth Fedelin and Andrea Brillantes.
Diaz went on Instagram Live on December 23 to say that she did not seduce or take anyone, noting that her name should be left out of whatever issues the former couple had in the past.
“Wala akong inahas. Wala akong nilandi. Wala akong inagaw. Kung ano man ang naging problema ni Blythe (Brillantes) at ni Seth noon, sa kanila ‘yon, labas ako doon. At kung ano man ang problema nila ngayon, labas ako doon. Huwag niyo na akong idamay. Huwag niyo na i-drag ang name ko,” she said.

Diaz explained the picture that went viral in 2021, where Fedelin was seen with her family at their house. A picture that Brillantes took out of context after posting cryptic videos that ‘she got cheated on’.
“Yung pagpunta niya sa bahay, ‘yon ay para humingi ng tawad kasi alam niya, alam nila Blythe na wala akong kasalanan. Pumunta si Seth doon para humingi ng tawad. He invited Blythe, but hindi siya sumama, and the next thing I know, ako na ‘yung pinagpiyestahan sa social media,” recalled the actress.
“Alam niya na hihingi ng sorry si Seth, and yet, ganon ang ginawa niya. Wala kayong narinig sakin at all. Nanahimik ako, not because tama lahat ng sinasabi niyo sakin. Nanahimik ako, kasi akala ko mas magiging maayos kung tatahimik ako. Pero kasi narealize ko, the more na nanahimik ako parang mas lalo lang lumalala ‘yung nangyayari,” she added.

The actress stated that she’s not speaking up for people to hate on Brillantes, but she’s speaking up to clarify the issues once and for all.
“Guys, hindi ako naglive to encourage na ihate niyo ‘yung tao, to hate Blythe. She’s receiving so much hate. Ginagawa ko ‘to because gusto kong iklaro, ang tagal tagal na ng isyu na ‘yon. Iwanan na natin,” she argued.

Meanwhile, Fedelin joined the live and also said his stand on the issue, echoing the sentiments that Diaz declared.
“Unang una, walang inagaw si Chin (Diaz). Walang nang-agaw. Ako, alam, ‘to ni tita. Ako ang nagsabi. Ako ang nagsumbong kay tita kung anong ang nangyari. Hindi si Chin, ako. Matagal na ‘tong issue na ‘to. Nanahimik si Francine at ang pamilya niya, dinadamay niyo pa,” he said.

Prior to their IG Live earlier that day, Fedelin first took to X to defend Diaz against bashers.
Brillantes and Diaz unfollowed each other on Instagram in January 2022. It was then reported that Brillantes confronted Diaz in a dressing room amid reports that Fedelin, the former’s then onscreen partner, was courting her.
Diaz’s manager then denied there was any courtship between his ward and Fedelin. However, as Brillantes’ fans continued to bash Diaz, her mother called out the former for supposed “bullying.”
In April 2022, Brillantes decided to come clean to say that she and Fedelin were in a relationship for two years before breaking up in October 2021.
