Iza Calzado to husband Ben Wintle: ‘Can’t imagine a better sperm donor for Deia’

Iza Calzado marked her fifth wedding anniversary with her husband Ben Wintle with a message of gratitude, thanking the latter not only for his love but also for his genes.
The actress recalled moments from their nuptials as well as their wedding vows via her Instagram page on Tuesday, Dec. 19.
“‘To have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part.’ These words have a deeper meaning the longer a marriage lasts,” she said.
“One never truly understands until one is put to the test. Glad we made it through,” she stated. “Grateful to be on this crazy beautiful ride with you.”
Calzado concluded her message with a humorous PS: “Can’t imagine a better sperm donor for Deia. Thank you for your genes!”

Friends and fellow celebrities, who were amused by the actress’ remark, joined in the celebration of the couple’s milestone as they sent their greetings via the comments section.

Deia meets first cousin Sadie
In a separate post, Calzado also gave a glimpse of their daughter Deia’s first meeting with her cousin Sadie, the daughter of actress Bianca King and her husband Ralph Wintle. King, Ralph and Sadie earlier flew from Australia to the Philippines.
“Two little rays of sunshine, born only a few weeks apart, finally meet—a long-awaited moment of pure joy and wonder. These precious girls have been a true blessing to our family, and witnessing their first encounter was a moment we’ll never forget,” Calzado wrote in the caption.

Calzado and Ben, who tied the knot in December 2018, welcomed Deia Amihan on Jan. 26 this year but only announced her arrival to the public on March 26.
