Ellen Adarna suffers anxiety after Derek Ramsay announced her miscarriage

Ellen Adarna revealed that she felt anxious after her husband, actor Derek Ramsay, publicly announced her miscarriage.
Speaking to fans through the Instagram Stories’ Q&A feature, she expressed her feelings upon knowing that Ramsay revealed that they lost their baby, noting that it gave her anxiety.
“I’m okay. I had no plans to announce it, to be honest. And if ever, I’m not going to announce it. Ma-shock na lang kayo na may baby na. But my husband can’t shut his mouth,” she commented.
“The day he told me that he mentioned me and talked about it, it actually gave me anxiety, ’cause, oh my god, why?” she said, adding, “So my plan is that when I get pregnant, I’m not going to tell my husband.”
Early this month, Ramsay shared during the media conference of his Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) film that his wife suffered a miscarriage in Spain.
“Noong nasa Spain kami, nalaman namin na preggy si Ellen, but unfortunately we lost the baby. At least nalaman namin na hindi kami baog. First attempt pa lamang namin na gumawa ng baby. Ellen is okay. We will try next year,” shared the actor.
Despite the saddening situation, the couple is still hopeful that they will be blessed with a child next year, as they aim to have a baby girl.
“It was very early on in the pregnancy. But she’s okay. Hindi niya kailangang magpa-confine, or magparaspa, whatsoever. So, hopefully next year, makabuo na uli kami. I’m leaning towards having a baby girl.”
In Ramsay’s recent interview, the actor said that he is semi-retiring from showbiz as he can’t bear to be away from his family.
As the couple plans to make their family bigger with Adarna’s son with ex-partner John Lloyd Cruz and Ramsay’s 20-year-old son from a previous relationship, the actress has quit smoking to keep her body ready for pregnancy.
