Yllana Aduana leads ‘Miss People’s Choice’ poll for Miss Earth 2023
HO CHI MINH, Vietnam — The Philippines’ Yllana Marie Aduana finally secured the top spot in the poll for “Miss People’s Choice” for the 2023 Miss Earth pageant on the day before the final competition.
In a social media post, voting platform Eventista declared the Filipino contender as the most voted delegate as of 8:45 p.m. (9:45 p.m. in Manila) on Dec. 21.
“Philippines is taking the lead in the worldwide ranking. The race is hotter than ever as the rankings change continuously every day and every hour,” the online voting platform posted on social media, just a day after announcing that Indonesia’s Cindy Inarito has dislodged Paraguay’s Gretha Matiauda from the top of the leaderboard.

Aduana’s rise in the rankings came after she earned “double points” in the poll for a period of 24 hours for topping the voting for “Best Bikini.” The winner of the “Miss People’s Choice,” meanwhile, will earn a guaranteed spot in the Top 20. This is the first time that the Miss Earth pageant will award a semifinal slot to a delegate voted by the public.
