Alora Sasam piqued fans’ curiosity after they noticed she unfollowed Daniel Padilla—the ex-boyfriend of her close friend Kathryn Bernardo—on Instagram, then advised a fan of the former couple to refrain from meddling in things they know nothing about.
Sasam no longer follows Padilla as of Sunday, Dec 17, over two weeks after KathNiel — the monicker given to the love team of Bernardo and Padilla — confirmed their breakup to the public.

Interestingly, eagle-eyed netizens also pointed out that the comedienne does not follow Andrea Brillantes on the platform, although it was not confirmed if Sasam has not been following the actress or if she unfollowed her.
Brillantes was dragged in the issue as she was accused of being a third party in Padilla and Bernardo’s split after showbiz insiders claimed the younger actress had been meeting secretly with the actor.

Sasam further intrigued fans after she responded to a Kathniel fan asking her to be a “good friend” to both Bernardo and Padilla.
“Alora, sana maging maayos kang kaibigan sa dalawa; na sana mapayuhan mo [nang] maayos at ‘wag panghimasukan and [‘di] dapat pang panghimasukan,” one @KILLIEBABS commented on Sasam’s appreciation post for Bernardo on her TikTok page.
(Alora, I hope you become a good friend to both of them and advise them fairly. [Stop] poking your nose into things you shouldn’t.)
“If alam mo rin ang nalalaman ko po, ‘di ito comment mo,” Sasam replied. “Try mo critical thinking. ‘Wag panghimasukan kapag wala kang nalalaman. God bless!”

Padilla and Bernardo, who had been in a relationship since 2012, made their split public on Nov. 30 through separate statements. In her statement, Bernardo admitted that she and Padilla “have been drifting apart for a while now.”
The pair then performed together at the ABS-CBN Christmas Special on Dec. 13, which marked their first public appearance after confirming their breakup.
Days later, Padilla removed parts of his breakup statement on Instagram, replacing it with the brief line: “Ikaw at ako (You and me).”
Bernardo, for her part, is seemingly embracing her life as a single lady as she declared: “No looking back, only moving forward.”
