Sharon on newly single Miles: Any guy would be lucky to be with her

Asked how she was doing after her recent break up, Miles Ocampo smiled and playfully returned the question back at the press.

“I’m good. I’m happy that I’m here with all of you today. How are you? Have you guys eaten?” she said, laughing at a recent press conference for the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry “Family of Two (A Mother and Son Story),” a drama movie topbilled by Sharon Cuneta and Alden Richards.

But while she didn’t directly address questions about her split with boyfriend Elijah Canlas, Miles’ costar Sharon Cuneta made it known that any man would be “lucky” to have someone like the 26-year-old actress.A strong woman

“Miles is a strong woman. She’s beautiful, she’s charming. And lots of guys are probably happy now that they can now go after her. That’s my baby,” said Sharon, who plays the mother of Miles’ character in the said movie.

“Swerte kaya ng lalaki sa ’yo!” she reassuringly told Miles.

One thing Miles was comfortable talking about, however, was her parents’ uncanny sense that not everything is alright. “That’s the best thing about parents. Even if you don’t confide in them, even if you don’t say or share anything with them, they still feel what you feel. And that’s something I’m grateful for,” Miles said.

“I’m grateful for my parents, especially my mom. Even if we haven’t had many conversations, she would just randomly message me, asking, ‘Kumusta ka today?’ They don’t need to know the full details. They will check up on you. I believe that’s in their blood.”
