Alora Sasam apologized for sharing a meme of Kathryn Bernardo supposedly asking the comedian to have a drink after the actress confirmed to the public her breakup with Daniel Padilla.

Sasam, a known close friend of Bernardo, removed from her X (formerly Twitter) the photo she shared which shows the “A Very Good Girl” actress whispering something to her. Screenshots of the now-deleted photo have already been re-uploaded on social media.

A speech bubble next to Bernardo reads, “Shot puno mamaya. Bawal tumakas (Let’s have some shots later. No one can leave).” Sasam’s bubble then states, “Pwede iwan ko na lang atay ko? Balikan ko bukas.” (Can I just leave my liver? I’ll come back for it tomorrow.)

Fans of the former couple seemingly did not find the meme funny as they called out Sasam for being “insensitive.”

The comedian later took down her post and admitted, “Sorry, insensitive joke po. Mali ako. Di na po mauulit. Sorry po. Deleted na po.”

(Sorry, it was an insensitive joke. I was wrong. It won’t happen again. Sorry. It was already deleted.)

Bernardo and Padilla confirmed last Nov. 30 that they had parted ways after 11 years of being together.

While the pair opted not to disclose the reason for their split, Bernardo admitted that they “have been drifting apart for a while now” and that they can’t go back to how they used to be.

Padilla, for his part, vowed that his love for Bernardo would never end.
