Korean superstars Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin took the industry by storm when they first announced their relationship until their marriage and parenthood. Now, the couple’s son has turned a year old, and they are happy parents to celebrate the milestone.
On November 28, Ye-jin posted an old baby picture of herself on Instagram, which fans first thought was a picture of her son, but the actress just wanted to thank them for celebrating his son’s first birthday.
In her caption, the actress said that her son is cuter than her, and she wanted to thank the fans whom she’s calling aunts for showing love and giving presents to her son, which she greatly appreciates.
“The experience of seeing my child self that I don’t quite remember through blurry photos, now overlapping and being projected on my child, feels mysterious,” Ye-jin wrote on her Instagram.
“Thank you for wishing our Alkongie a happy first birthday. Alkongie really liked all the presents he received. But moving forward, even a heartfelt letter to show your support is really enough,” she further said as she called her son by his nickname.

Ye-jin and Hyun Bin’s relationship timeline
The Crash Landing On You stars first confirmed their relationship on Instagram on January 1, 2021, after Dispatch broke the news that the two were dating. The actress posted a picture of a bouquet, writing that she is “thankful to have met a good person” and that she will “tend (to the relationship) with care.”
On February 10, 2022, the couple announced their engagement through their agencies, and Ye-jin took to her Instagram to personally share the exciting news, with a photo of a little wedding dress and a caption that read, “I found someone to spend the rest of my life with. Yes, it’s him.”
One month later, the couple got married on March 31, 2022, and welcomed their beautiful, healthy baby boy in November 2022.
The couple has been particular with the privacy of their child by not sharing any pictures of his face online, but the couple has been sharing a tiny glimpse of their love child, such as his feet, which for the fans is enough.
