Robi Domingo says he doesn’t follow people on social media for his own sanity
Amid the ado surrounding the rumors about a love triangle among Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla and Andrea Brillantes, TV host Robi Domingo restated that he doesn’t follow anyone including Padilla and Brillantes on Instagram only to unfollow them later.
In a new interview by showbiz insider Ogie Diaz, Domingo emphasized that just because he doesn’t follow some celebrities on their social media accounts doesn’t mean they are not friends or he’s not on good terms with them in real life.
“Hindi po. It doesn’t mean na [kapag] hindi ko sila finofollow hindi ko sila kaibigan. For me, ‘yung relationship ko with them transcends ‘yung pag-follow follow. We’re good,” said the VJ.
Domingo shared a recent moment between him and Padilla wherein they just laughed at the rumors in which their names were being brought up.
“Actually, nung isang araw nakausap ko pa si Daniel, nagtawanan kami, ayun ‘yong meron siyang movie conference or story conference. Nagbiruan lang kami sabi niya sakin, ‘In-unfollow mo ba ako?’Galit ka ba sakin?’Nagtawanan lang kami, kasi for us, hindi issue ‘yon talaga,” said Domingo.

On not following people for his sanity
The 34-year-old actor-host further explained that he could easily follow people, but it’s his personal choice not to, for his own sanity, because so much is happening that he no longer wants to tune in to the digital noise.
“Totoo naman, puwede ko naman ‘yon gawin, but for my sanity, siguro.
The award-winning host noted that he is not in a position to follow anyone because he doesn’t have any issues with them. Chances are that they have problems in their personal lives; Domingo is emphasizing that it doesn’t concern him.
“Bakit ako mag-uunfollow lalo na wala naman akong issue sa kanila, at saka lalong lalo na lagi kami nagkikita. So kung ano man merong nangyayari, it’s with them, not with me. It doesn’t concern me, kasi okay kami. Okay na okay kami lahat,” he said.
Domingo is one of the personalities that got dragged into the Bernardo-and-Padilla break-up rumors, with Brillantes as the alleged third party. The couple and the young actress have not spoken up about the allegations.
