Julie Anne San Jose, Rita Daniela reveal if they can survive without men; share lessons in love
Kapuso stars Julie Anne San Jose and Rita Daniela sat down on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” to give updates about their lives and their upcoming concert, “Queendom: Live.”
One of the things that the duo was asked about was the one thing that they needed to survive in this world. “Marami. Pero first thing, ‘yung boses ko,” said Julie Anne.
Rita, on the other hand, answered, “Love, kasi diba kahit saang lupalop ka mapunta, singing man ‘yan o ‘di ka man kumanta, normal na trabaho, kapag may love sa ginagawa mo magtatagal ka.”
Abunda then looked Rita in the eye and asked, “Can you survive without men?”
The singer-actress looked at him right back and said, laughing, “‘Yan ang sagot.”
Rita noted that right now, since she has her son, Uno, she’s handling the situation without men just fine.

Lesson on love
Regarding men, the two singers were asked what the most important lesson they have learned about love was.
“‘Wag ka sobra sobra magbigay. Kailangan matuto talaga magtira para sa sarii,” said Rita. She also extended advice to her co-singer and friend Julie Anne.
“Siguro ipapayo ko sa kanya. Ano na lang. Mas sigurado pa sa mga gagawin, kumbaga kung natest mo na, konti pa,” said the “undeniable star.”
Meanwhile, Julie Anne shared her most important love lesson: “Mahalin mo ng lubusan ‘yung sarili mo para makapagmahal ka ng iba pa.”
The two said they were very happy at the moment, despite Rita’s being in the post-partum stage after giving birth to her first child 11 months ago.
“Very happy. But syempre hindi ko maiwan, I think I’m still on that post-partum stage, I guess. but very fulfilling. Sabi ko nga, isa sa mga pangarap ko maging ina. At napaka swerte ko ibinigay sakin ‘yon ng Panginoon,” answered Rita.
