Alodia Gosiengfiao announced her departure from Tier One Entertainment, the gaming and esports entertainment company she co-founded in 2017, saying their visions and values were evidently “not aligned.”

“It is with a heavy heart that I bid Tier One Entertainment farewell,” the vlogger-cosplay star said via a statement released on her Facebook page on Thursday, Nov. 23.

“The journey we shared in building the company has been both challenging and rewarding. However, it has become evident that our visions and values are not aligned,” she continued.

Despite leaving the company, Gosiengfiao underscored that she was “grateful for the experiences, relationships, and accomplishments [they have] achieved together.”

For its part, Tier One thanked Gosiengfiao, describing her as an inspiration and a “beacon of excellence,” in an open letter shared on its Facebook page.

“There is no reality where Tier One Entertainment would have reached the heights we have reached without you,” it said. “We are truly grateful for the time and dedication you have given us over the years. In the Philippines and around the world, you are undeniably one of one.”

“It is essential for everyone to find a place where their values align and their vision can flourish,” it added. “We wish you all the best in your next chapter and hope you find that place. Both professionally and within your beautiful growing family.”

One Facebook user, who seemingly assumed that Gosiengfiao was pregnant, then congratulated the content creator for her “growing family,” which prompted her to set the record straight.

“I’m not pregnant,” Gosiengfiao said, adding a smiling face emoji.
