Multimedia star Anne Curtis is taking her concert to the next level, as she announced on her Instagram that she will bring her comeback concert “Luv-Anne” to California in the United States.
According to the post, Curtis’ 2023 comeback concert will be held on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 1-2, at 8 p.m. at the Pechanga Theater in California.
“It’s really a comeback, as I haven’t visited in so long! Super excited! Don’t worry! My voice has really improved, I promise! ” wrote the It’s Showtime host.
The upcoming concert will also be graced by the presence of Curtis’ special guests, singer Mark Bautista, G-Force, singer-songwriter Louie Ocampo and international Filipino-American artist EZ Mil.
Comeback concert
After AnneBisyosa: No Other Concert (2013), AnneKapal: The Forbidden Concert (2014), and AnneKulit (2018), the award-winning actress made a comeback concert through ‘Luv-ANNE’ at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in June last year.
“I am just thankful that, in spite of everything, you guys are still here. Another reason why I’m here is love—love for music, a passion for doing something that we love. And I think that’s also why you guys are here—because of love. It’s been so long, yet you’re still here to support me,” said Curtis in an interview in June 2022.
In 2019, the actress-singer took a break from show biz to focus on her daughter Dahlia with celebrity chef Erwan Heussaff. After giving birth in Australia, she returned to the Philippines with her family in February 2021.
“There’s a difference; there’s an improvement—gumanda talaga ang voice ko!” she told the Inquirer in a Zoom conference for her comeback concert, “Luv-Anne,” on June 11.
Dua Lipa’s hit “Levitating,”, Blackpink’s “How You Like That,” and two OPM contemporary hits, “Torete” by Moonstar88 and “Torpe” by Hungry Young Poets, were included in the set list for Curtis’ comeback concert.
