Michelle Dee has nothing but heartfelt gratitude to her supporters after ending her Miss Universe 2023 journey in the Top 10.
The crossover stunner took to her “Hey, MMDVERSE!” Instagram broadcast channel on Saturday, Nov. 18 (morning of Nov. 19 in the Philippines) to thank her fans for the support during the pageant’s coronation night at the José Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador, El Salvador.
“Love and kindness over everything! Mahal ko kayo (I love you all). Thank you so much fun for raising our flag with me,” she wrote.
On the other hand, Nicaragua’s Sheynnis Palacios was crowned as Miss Universe 2023 after nailing the pageant’s swimsuit, evening gown, and question-and-answer portions.
Her court consists of Thailand’s Anntonia Porsild who was named as first runner-up while Australia’s Moraya Wilson earned the second-runner up title.
Dee, however, won’t be going home empty-handed as she was named as one of the “Voice for Change” gold awardees and the Spirit of Carnival award during the pageant.
Prior to the coronation night, Dee’s mother, Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez, was among the Filipinos seen in the audience cheering for the crossover stunner.
