Marian Rivera declares after renewed friendship with Heart Evangelista: ‘My heart is happy’

Marian Rivera-Dantes said she is at peace after she finally rekindled her friendship with fellow actress Heart Evangelista, saying it happened in “God’s perfect time.”
Rivera opened up about their renewed relationship during an interview with entertainment reporter Nelson Canlas for “24 Oras” on Wednesday, Nov. 15.
“Ang naramdaman ko talaga ay my heart is happy, tapos nando’n ako sa peaceful na finally, in God’s perfect time,” the celebrity mom said. (I feel that my heart is really happy, and that [everything is] finally peaceful in God’s perfect time.)
Rivera also disclosed that it was their mutual friends and families who helped the actresses reconnect with each other.
“Siguro kung ano man ‘yung mga pinag-uusapan namin behind, siguro balato niyo na lang sa amin ‘yon kasi it’s too personal for us,” she added. “Nakakatuwa na may mga conversation kami; hanggang ngayon may communication kami.”
(Please let us keep private whatever we have talked about because it’s too personal for us. I feel happy that we have conversations now, and that we still have communication until now.)
Evangelista, for her part, earlier underscored that she and Rivera “have always liked each other” and that their supposed rivalry was only caused by “people around [them] that make things bad.”
Talks of rekindled friendship between Evangelista and Rivera, who have had personal differences with each other dating back to 2011, arose among fans in October. This was after netizens noticed that the two actresses have followed each other on Instagram, and even commented on each other’s posts.
