Gabriel was crowned as the reigning queen in New Orleans, Louisiana, last Jan. 14, cementing the US’ long-standing dominance in the global tilt. As of this writing, the US has the greatest number of Miss Universe winners with nine titleholders.

Dee is on a mission to bring back the Philippines’s semi-final streak in the global tilt, as well as the country’s fifth crown after Gloria Diaz, Margarita Moran, Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray.
