R’Bonney Gabriel moves out of Miss Universe apartment in New York
Days before she’ll pass her crown to her successor in El Salvador, R’Bonney Gabriel couldn’t help but get sentimental as she moved out of the Miss Universe apartment in New York City.
The Miss Universe 2022 titleholder showed a peek of her “moving day” in New York on Instagram Wednesday, Nov. 1, where she was surrounded by boxes and her “plant babies.”
“Moving day. Packing up my plant babies and moving out of the Miss Universe apartment. Definitely going to miss it. Hope the next queen enjoys it just as much as I did,” she said in the caption.

Gabriel was crowned as the reigning queen in New Orleans, Louisiana, last Jan. 14, cementing the US’ long-standing dominance in the global tilt. As of this writing, the US has the greatest number of Miss Universe winners with nine titleholders.
Dee is on a mission to bring back the Philippines’s semi-final streak in the global tilt, as well as the country’s fifth crown after Gloria Diaz, Margarita Moran, Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray.
